The Eastman VL-401 (Ivan Dunov) is a great value for the player searching for a particularly dark European sound. Crafted in Romania from select Carpathian tonewoods in the Stradivari pattern and is finished by hand in the United States with an antique-style spirit varnish. It has a solid spruce top and flamed maple back ribs and scroll. The pegs fingerboard and chinrest are ebony.
