The Eastman VL-701 (Rudolph Doetsch) boasts the traditional dark and robust Germanic sound that carries and has great flexibility. It is crafted in Germany from select European tonewoods. It has high quality African ebony fingerboard pegs and chinrest as well as tap-tuned plates for the best possible tone and response. This violin has an antique-style hand applied multi-layer varnish. This instrument has a Level II Professional Setup which includes a hand-cut hand-fitted and adjusted soundpost high-quality Aubert #7 bridge hand-fit and lubricated pegs in matching material to other fittings finely finished nut fine planed and dressed fingerboard properly adjusted tailgut and Dominant strings.
