The VA-C0E is great for the player looking for a clear, bright sound. Entirely hand-crafted with a select aged spruce top and highly flamed maple back, ribs, and scroll. It is finished with a hand-applied, antique-style spirit varnish. This viola also has hand-carved ebony pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, and fingerboard. This instrument has a Level IIO Professional Setup which includes a hand-cut, hand-fitted and adjusted soundpost, high-quality Aubert #7 bridge, hand-fitted and lubricated pegs, finely finished nut fine, planed and dressed fingerboard, properly adjusted tailgut, and Pirastro Obligato C, G, and D strings with a Larsen A string.
