The VC-C0E is entirely hand-crafted from solid tonewoods with a select spruce top and highly flamed maple back ribs and scroll. This is a custom model with a Canadian poplar back also available in limited quantities. The instrument also boasts a hand-applied antique-style spirit varnish hand-carved boxwood pegs tailpiece and chinrest with ebony trim and a strong clear tone. This instrument has a Level II Professional Setup which includes a hand-cut hand-fitted and adjusted soundpost high-quality Aubert #16 bridge hand-fitted and lubricated pegs in matching material to other fittings finely finished nut fine planed and hand-dressed fingerboard properly adjusted tailgut Wittner Ultra tailpiece and D’Addario Helicore strings.
