Nikolas D01 Viola

This viola is an incredible value for players looking for a particularly dark European sound. The Nikolas VA-D01 is crafted in Romania from select Carpathian tonewoods in the Stradivari pattern and hand-varnished with a dark antique-style varnish.

It has a solid spruce top and flamed maple back ribs and scroll with ebony pegs fingerboard and chinrest.

This instrument has a Level II Professional Setup which includes a hand-cut hand-fitted and adjusted soundpost and Aubert #5 bridge hand-fitted and lubricated pegs finished nut planed and dressed fingerboard adjusted tailgut and D'Addario Helicore strings.
